Forsythia
It’s that time of year again when it is nearly impossible to know how to dress for the weather, as it is moodier than a teenager. Today alone (not when I took these pictures), there was rain and sunshine, and the temperature was yo-yoing between 40 and 70 degrees. Who can keep up???
Anyway, enough about the weather! This time of year I always find myself reaching for a sweater/skirt combo, which was how I ended up with this week’s look! I was home a couple of weekends ago for my friend’s bridal shower. It was the first time I had been to one, so I was not entirely sure what to wear, with the exception being that I knew not to wear white. I wanted to wear something that would be dressy enough, but that I would be comfortable in for the afternoon. I had just gotten the polka dot skirt, so I had been itching to wear and style it! I added one of my all time favorite sweaters and a fun heel, and I was ready to celebrate one of my oldest friends and her fiance!
Luckily when I was home the weather was cooperating and it was a beautiful day. I dragged my sister out to help me capture these shots, and I am always reminded how amazing she is with a camera!
